Ingredient supplier Nutriventia announced that three more of its ingredients have achieved Clean Label Project (CLP) certification, bringing the total number of its ingredients certified by the organization to five, covering its entire signature portfolio.

The Clean Label Project is a nonprofit supporting transparency in product labeling and consumer health, certifying products that meet rigorous standards for purity and the absence of harmful contaminants.

The newly-certified ingredients include CaffXtend delayed-release caffeine beadlets; C-Fence granules for vitamin C sustained-release tablets; and Melotime sustained-release melatonin granules. They join Prolanza sustained-release ashwagandha extract and TurmXtra water-dispersible turmeric extract, which were certified in 2022.

Each certified ingredient underwent a third-party evaluation by Ellipse analytics, including testing for heavy metals, over 300 pesticides including glyphosate, and plasticizers. Certification demonstrates compliance with California’s Proposition 65 and other safety requirements, and ongoing compliance is ensured through unannounced sampling and continued quality checks.

“CLP certification gives consumers the confidence that our ingredients are truly clean label,” said Vishal Shah, co-founder of Nutriventia. “This is critical, as consumers do not want to be exposed to residual pesticides, plasticizers, heavy metals, or other contaminants.”

“We are proud that all of our science-backed ingredients are now CLP certified,” Shah continued. “This esteemed certification further strengthens the value of our ingredients, which are clinically proven to deliver health benefits at low, convenient doses. It reflects Nutriventia’s commitment to transparency and rigorous quality checks across our supply chain, a key factor in achieving this certification. The recognition underscores the superiority of our ingredients, a key factor in achieving this certification. The recognition underscores the superiority of our ingredients, supported by an extensive base of clinical evidence on bioavailability and absorption, and reinforces our dedication to providing high-quality, safe, and efficacious nutraceutical solutions.”
